The Soloist slots between the highly aerodynamic S5 and the lightweight R5 in Cervelo's lineup, making it a well-rounded option for riders who want a single bike for all their riding needs.

The Soloist's frame is constructed from Cervelo's high-modulus carbon fiber, and it features a number of aerodynamic features, including truncated airfoil tube shapes and hidden cable routing. Despite its aerodynamic focus, the Soloist is also relatively lightweight, with a claimed frame weight of just 950 grams.
