2024 European Darts Open to be held in Leverkusen

Event details

The 2024 European Darts Open will take place at the Ostermann-Arena in Leverkusen, Germany from June 21 to 23. This will be the eighth event on the PDC European Tour for 2024 and will feature 48 players competing for a share of the £140,000 prize fund. The winner will receive £25,000.

Format

The tournament will be played in a knockout format, with the top 16 players in the PDC Order of Merit receiving a bye to the second round. The remaining 32 players will compete in a preliminary round to determine the 16 players who will join the top 16 in the second round.

Qualification

Players can qualify for the tournament through the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit, the European Tour Order of Merit, or by receiving a wildcard invitation. The entry deadline for the tournament is Friday, April 26 at 2:00pm GMT.
