Early Life and Education
Hajdi Korošec was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on September 12, 1968. From a young age, she demonstrated a passion for learning and a determination to make a difference in the world. Korošec excelled in her studies and went on to earn a degree in law from the University of Ljubljana.

In 2014, Korošec was elected President of the European Committee of the Regions, a consultative body that represents local and regional authorities in the European Union.
